Installing the PWA app brevets.ru
Install the web app on your smartphone for quick access to the brevet calendar and tracker, and to work offline without the browser address bar.
Step 1: Remove the old version and clear the cache
If you previously installed the app or used the site actively, outdated files may have been saved in your phone's memory. For the new app to run smoothly and without errors, be sure to prepare first:
1. Removing the old PWA version
- •On Android: Find the old PWA icon on the home screen or in the app list, press and hold it and select Remove.
- •On iOS (iPhone/iPad): Press and hold the app icon on the Home screen, select Remove Bookmark and confirm the deletion.
2. Clearing the site cache in the browser
- •In Chrome (Android): Open the site, tap the three dots at the top → Settings → Site settings → All sites → search for brevets.ru → tap the trash icon.
- •In Safari (iOS): Go to the phone's system Settings → Safari → Extensions → Website Data. Search for
brevets.ru, swipe left and tap Remove.
Step 2. A: Installing on Android (Google Chrome)
Install in the Google Chrome browser:

Open the site
Go to the brevets.ru page in the Chrome browser.

Use the pop-up banner
A "Install app" banner will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap the Install button.

Or install manually via the menu
If there is no banner, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of Chrome and select Install app or Add to Home screen.
Step 2. B: Installing on iOS (Safari / iPhone)
Please note: On Apple devices (iOS) a PWA can be installed only through the system Safari browser. Chrome, Opera or Firefox on iPhone do not support this feature.
Install in the Safari browser:

Open the site in Safari
Go to the brevets.ru page specifically in Safari.

Tap Share
Tap the Share button (a square with an up arrow) in the browser's bottom menu.

Add to Home screen
In the list of actions that appears, scroll down and select Add to Home Screen, then tap Add in the top corner.
